Kara Gentry

Kara Gentry holds a Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology from Pacific University and is a board certified Professional Counselor Associate. She is a sex positive, knowledgeable and affirming provider comfortable with  queerness, gender expansiveness, ethical non-monogamy, asexuality and disabilities. Kara is anti-racist and actively works to acknowledge how her own privilege emerges in and outside of the therapeutic relationship. 

She believes that the alignment between client and therapist is paramount for healing and growth and has experience working with both adolescents and adults. Her caring and empathetic disposition builds the confidence needed to risk in vulnerability to generate lasting interpersonal and relational change in her clients. When not helping others, you can find Kara spending time with her dog and loved ones, shooting film photography, exploring various fitness activities and nature, reading books, traveling, and enjoying food!
