Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Kendra is a board-certified Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Oregon. She obtained her Master of Social Work degree from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. In a few words, Kendra’s style is down to earth, collaborative, and relational. She believes that laughter is therapeutic and swearing is more than welcome.

Kendra joins clients in navigating the ‘unexpected’ that come with life and strengthening their authentic selves in the process. She is passionate about partnering with individuals of all identities and believes that anti-racism and social justice are important aspects of mental health and systemic change.

Kendra identifies as a generalist provider for individuals and couples, specializing in life transitions, anxiety, depression, and intra/interpersonal relationships. In particular, she enjoys partnering with young adults as they work through the growing pains often experienced in that season of life. Kendra believes that a connecting therapeutic relationship can be foundational for deep-rooted change. She integrates an eclectic mix of approaches to aid in this process, including Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Gottman Method.

When not working, Kendra spends her time adventuring life with her pup and exploring all the goodness that this state, country, and world have to offer.

Therapeutic Approach: CBT, ACT, MI, Internal Family Systems, Solution-Focused, Mindfulness, Trauma-informed, and Person-centered.

She considers her work both a passion and a privilege, “People never cease to amaze me with their strength and resiliency.”

In her free time, you will find her creating her next big adventure alongside her husband and two young children.
