DEANNA CAIN, PMHNP-BC, CNS-BC

Deanna is a state-licensed and board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Clinical Nurse Specialist specializing in the treatment of family, children, and adolescents. She obtained her undergraduate training in psychology at Portland State University followed by her nursing certificate and subsequent Master’s in Nursing degree at Yale University School of Nursing in 2008. Since then, Deanna has been providing psychotropic medication management services to individuals with a variety of mental health issues including depression, anxiety, ADHD, PTSD, and mood disorders. Deanna is a member of the International Society of Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurses, Oregon and American Nurses Associations, and Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Honors Society- Yale Chapter.

In addition to utilizing Evidence-Based practices, Deanna believes in a therapeutic and collaborative approach to treatment with a focus on not only stability, but improving overall quality of life.

Outside the office, she enjoys being with her family and their rambunctious dog – often spending time in Central Oregon and enjoying all the benefits living in the Pacific NW has to offer.
