Saffron Dowse

Saffron will be working at our school locations: Hazelbrook and Fowler Middle School. She is currently completing her Master’s degree in Applied Clinical Psychology at Pacific University and holds a B.S. in Psychology and Sociology from the University of Idaho. She has experience working with youth diagnosed with ASD as a behaviour technician, where she supported the development of communication, social, emotional regulation, and daily living skills.

 

Saffron believes early adolescence is a particularly formative period of life. She strives to create a safe and supportive space where clients can navigate the unique challenges that come with this stage of development. Saffron takes an individualised approach to therapy, recognising that each person brings their own needs, preferences, and experiences. Her primary evidence-based framework is CBT, which she integrates with tools and strategies from ACT and DBT to best support each client’s individual needs.
