DEANNA CAIN, PMHNP-BC, CNS-BC
Deanna is a state licensed and board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Clinical Nurse Specialist specializing in the treatment of family, children and adolescents. She obtained her undergraduate training in psychology at Portland State University. After this, she obtained her nursing certificate and subsequent Master’s in Nursing at Yale University School of Nursing. Deanna provides psychotropic medication management services to children, adolescents and adults with a variety of mental health issues including depression, anxiety, ADHD, PTSD and mood disorders. Deanna is a member of the International Society of Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurses, Oregon and American Nurses Associations, and Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Honors Society- Yale Chapter. She enjoys spending quality time with her husband, their three dogs, and her extended family. She enjoys sports as she comes from a very active and athletic family – you can almost always find her at a Portland Timber’s match wearing her Green and Gold. She loves living in the Pacific Northwest and enjoys everything the rain and trees have to offer!
ALISON GULLION, LPC
Professional Counselor, Founder/Owner
Alison is a state licensed and board certified Professional Counselor specializing in adolescents and adults struggling with depression, bi-polar, anxiety, disordered eating and PTSD. Alison has been in private practice in the Portland metropolitan area since 2004. Her professional passion is centered around coordinating the mind, body, and spirit in order to bring harmony and balance to her clients. She believes in a collaborative healthcare system of wellness where communication between Primary Care, Acupuncture, Physical Therapy, Midwifery, Psychiatry, Nutrition and other specialty providers aids in the therapeutic process. She is also trained in EMDR.

KATIE LEDBURY, LPC
Katie is a state licensed and board certified Professional Counselor specializing in the treatment of children, adolescents, and adults struggling with anxiety, depression, PTSD, and behavioral issues. She has extensive experience utilizing Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Brief Strategic Family Therapy with her clients. She is a certified Prepare/Enrich Facilitator and has been working with couples since 2009. Her professional passion is centered around assisting her clients in building healthy relationships in order to further empower them in creating the lives they desire. When she’s not in the office, you can find her spending time with her husband and adorable dog. She enjoys hiking, cooking, karaoke and seeking out new adventures.

KARI MALJAI, LPC
Kari is a state licensed and board certified Professional Counselor. She received her Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University and began her clinical work in the mental health field in 2000.
Kari specializes in the treatment of adolescents and adults struggling with anxiety, depression, bi-polar disorder, relational stressors and grief and loss. Kari strives for a therapeutic relationship that is accepting, collaborative and authentic. She is passionate about helping her clients to better understand themselves in order to create the lives that they desire.
When not at work, Kari can be found trying to keep up with her active family. She loves the Pacific Northwest and that all it has to offer, but she also has a serious love for travel.
KATHRYN HOOVER, MS, LPC
EMDR Certified Clinician
Kat is a board certified state licensed professional counselor with the state of Oregon and is certified in EMDR. She specializes in treating people 18 and up who experience challenges related to trauma, PTSD, dissociative disorders, and mood disorders. Originally from North Carolina, she has called Oregon home for the last 8 years. She received her Bachelor's degree in Outdoor Experiential Education from Appalachian State University and her Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Oregon State University-Cascades.
Kat began her journey as a therapist by working in a wilderness therapy program in Utah. She was awed by the resilience and creativity of those participants, and drew huge amounts of inspiration from the natural world. She is now living her dream by providing hope, compassion, and results to her clients. She has been inspired by the strength and efficacy of EMDR therapy and ego state therapy, both of which work beautifully in concert. Kat obtained advanced training in dissociative disorders, pre-verbal trauma, and somatic resourcing to better support clients in embodying and owning their therapeutic journey. Of course, humor and joy has its own special place in the healing process!
When she is not in her office, you can find her on any given day spending time with loved ones, running an obstacle course race, or curled up with a book.
KALLIE COTHERN, LPC
Kallie Cothern, LPC
Kallie is a state licensed and board certified Professional Counselor with a Master’s degree in Family Counseling from the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia and a Certified Yoga Instructor. Kallie specializes in the treatment of adolescents, adults, couples and families struggling with anxiety, depression, PTSD, behavioral/communication issues, gender discovery and adjustment in major life transitions. Her holistic view of health and wellness informs her ability to support client’s awareness of the interplay between mind, body & spirit in their personal journey to health and happiness. Kallie believes that individuals are the true experts in their own lives and she seeks to work collaboratively with clients to explore and nurture their own innate desire and strengths to achieve growth, healing and wellness.
Kallie is a lover of nature and when not in the office, you may find her hiking, snowboarding, or just about any outdoor activity she can find. Other pastimes include spending time with loved ones, and practicing and/or teaching yoga.
MICHELLE WHITNEY, LCSW
Clinical Social Worker
Michelle Whitney, LCSW is a board certified and state licensed clinical social worker in the state of Oregon. She obtained her graduate degree in Social Work from Portland State University in 2007. Michelle has spent the majority of her career embedded in healthcare, most recently at the OHSU Internal Medicine Clinic. Her specialties include; anxiety, depression, bipolar, PTSD, substance use, persistent pain, chronic illness, life-changing health outcomes and grief/loss. She supports patients and their families that also have co-occurring conditions and is LGBTQ affirmative. Her client-centered approach to therapy aids in empowering people to be the author of their own story in and outside of the counseling hour.
Therapeutic Approach: CBT, ACT, MI, Internal Family Systems, Solution-Focused, Mindfulness, Trauma-informed and Person-centered.

Clinical Social Worker
Kendra is a board-certified Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Oregon. She obtained her Master of Social Work degree from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. In a few words, Kendra’s style is down to earth, collaborative, and relational. She believes that laughter is therapeutic and swearing is more than welcome.
Kendra joins clients in navigating the ‘unexpecteds’ that come with life and strengthening into their authentic selves in the process. She is passionate about partnering with individuals of all identities and believes that anti-racism and social justice are important aspects of mental health and systemic change.
Kendra identifies as a generalist provider for individuals and couples, specializing in life transitions, anxiety, depression, and intra/interpersonal relationships. In particular, she enjoys partnering with young adults as they work through the growing pains often experienced in that season of life. Kendra believes that a connecting therapeutic relationship can be foundational for deep-rooted change. She integrates an eclectic mix of approaches to aid in this process, including Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Gottman Method.
When not working, Kendra spends her time adventuring life with her pup and exploring all the goodness that this state, country, and world have to offer.
