WHO WE ARE

PNWBH is a leading provider in behavioral health for patients in the Portland area and is now expanding to provide services onsite at Tualatin HS.

WHAT WE DO

Our counselors offer support to students across a variety of different mental health needs including anxiety, depression, eating disorders, trauma, relationship problems and any additional needs that may be impacting their ability to live healthy, happy lives.

Counseling can be short-term or long-term, depending on the need of the student and therapy will look different depending on what will be most helpful to the student. This may include providing students a safe space to talk through their day-to-day struggles to more intensive interventions for specific needs.

HOW TO REFER

If your child is interested in receiving counseling services they can fill out a self-referral form or if you or your child have any additional questions, please email us at alexandra@pnwbh.com. If you are interested in your child receiving services but your child is not interested in services, please contact us at info@pnwbh.com.

INSURANCE

We are currently able to accept Oregon Health Plan (OHP) administered by Healthshare, Providence Healthplan, or Private-pay.

If your child is interested in services, please have them bring in a copy of the front and back of your active insurance card or feel free to email us a copy at alexandra@pnwbh.com. If you have information regarding your co-pay, please also provide this information to your child or email at alexandra@pnwbh.com.

SESSIONS

Please note that students will be pulled out of class between 45-60 minutes a week to attend their counseling session.

Students 14 years of age and older are able to self-refer without the permission of their parents or guardians. Under Oregon Law, children 14 years of age and older do not have to disclose information regarding their counseling, and their privacy is protected.
