Robi is a board-certified and state-registered Professional Counselor Associate with the State of Oregon and holds a Master’s degree in Psychology.  For the last 16 years, she has worked with a diverse population of children and their families who have experienced abuse, trauma, and/or limited abilities.  Her competence to serve diverse populations is expanded by her fluency in Spanish language skills and cultural awareness.  She believes in fostering a therapeutic environment of trust, respect, and acceptance while practicing with a holistic lens.  She is trauma-informed, diversity-inclusive, and an ally to the LGBTQIA+ community.

Robi was inspired to get a degree in psychology after becoming the mother of two children with unique needs and limited abilities. Astounded by their resilience, strength, and ability to overcome what seemed like insurmountable odds, she has found deep compassion for people experiencing profound life challenges and centered education around offering support for this population. Robi has called Oregon home since 2015 and during her time off, you might catch her salsa dancing with her husband or traveling and exploring Oregon with her family.

Robi is working in Tigard Tualatin School District.
