Professional Counselor Associate
Emily is a Professional Counselor Associate with the state of Oregon and is a member of the American Counseling Association. She holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from George Fox University in Portland, Oregon. During her studies, she also worked in the field of transcranial magnetic stimulation to aid in the treatment of depression, anxiety, and OCD. Her vocation and education drive a continued passion in the connection between neuroscience and psychotherapy. She helps her clients find meaning and value according to their worldview while generating acceptance and understanding with hidden emotions. Emily works with clients navigating anxiety, grief, mood disorders, phase of life transitions, PTSD, suicidal ideation, and trauma. She comes from a family of professionals in the medical field and her clinical skills are second to none. Outside of work, Emily enjoys reading, practicing yoga, and backpacking with her husband and Goldendoodle, Teddy.
