Katrina is a board-certified licensed art therapist and professional counselor who has worked with youth and families in private school settings since 2009. She received her Master's Degree in Art Therapy from Marylhurst University and specializes in working with youth who have challenges managing anxiety, emotional regulation, ADHD, social interactions, and trauma. Katrina believes in building a healthy therapeutic relationship to increase social and emotional growth as well as personal empowerment for youth. Utilizing art within the therapeutic relationship offers an invaluable space for clients to expand their ability to express themselves in turn, gaining greater understanding and respect.  Her therapeutic lens is strengths-based, person-centered, and trauma-informed care. Outside of work, Katrina enjoys creating art, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
